CopperLine Lodge is ideally situated 6 blocks from downtown, 12 blocks from the Hobo Hot Springs. Even so, it feels like you’re a long way from hustle and bustle. To the west, the Lodge borders a series of ponds, the other side of which is Dorothy Stoln’s farm. Her roosters or the mooing of a steer are likely to gently wake you after a night of quiet sleep, but never traffic. On the north are 14 acres of open land undeveloped for decades. Ponds border its edges, and the North Platte River flows past the cottonwoods on the other side of the huge barn. Deer reside there, have their babies there. Bull moose have been observed there 3 times since 2015. It’s a great place to bird watch off the balcony!
The front of the lodge is shaded by two 80 foot pine trees. A patio with a firepit and a pergola covered patio are at the edge of the drive, perfect for an afternoon picnic or gathering around the fire to talk and watch the sunset. The circle drive makes it easier to enter and exit; parking is directly in front of each cabin. Run your dog off-leash in the fenced pet area on the east end of the Lodge.
